International Zing Burger is developing a new selection of plant-based burgers inspired by flavours from around the world.
Based on our customer survey findings and competitor research, we selected five creative burger concepts. Each finalist offers a different combination of ingredients, cultural inspiration and flavour.

Mexican Fiesta Spicy Bean Burger
The Mexican Fiesta Spicy Bean Burger features a seasoned black bean patty served with avocado, fresh tomato salsa, lettuce, jalapeño and spicy vegan mayonnaise on a toasted sesame bun.

This burger combines fresh, creamy and spicy flavours. It was selected because the Mexican Spicy Bean option received strong interest in our customer survey. It is suitable for customers looking for a bold, colourful and satisfying plant-based meal.
Mediterranean Garden Mushroom Burger
The Mediterranean Garden Mushroom Burger combines a grilled portobello mushroom with roasted vegetables, lettuce, tomato, vegan cheese and a fresh herb sauce on an artisan sesame bun.

This burger provides a rich mushroom flavour balanced with fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs. It was selected because the Mediterranean Mushroom option also performed strongly in our survey. It offers a satisfying alternative for customers who enjoy fresh garden ingredients.
Seoul Street Korean BBQ Burger
The Seoul Street Korean BBQ Burger contains a grilled plant-based patty glazed with Korean BBQ sauce and topped with crunchy cabbage slaw, cucumber, spring onion and vegan mayonnaise on a sesame bun.

This burger combines sweet, smoky and savoury flavours with fresh, crunchy vegetables. It was selected to provide a distinctive international option and help IZB differentiate its range from the traditional plant-based burgers offered by major competitors.
Aussie Harvest Beetroot Veggie Burger
The Aussie Harvest Beetroot Veggie Burger features a hearty vegetable patty served with beetroot, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion and tomato relish on a whole-wheat sesame bun.

This option combines traditional Australian burger ingredients with a completely plant-based concept. It may appeal to customers who enjoy familiar flavours but would also like to explore a meat-free alternative. The beetroot gives the burger a colourful appearance and a distinctive Australian identity.
Tandoori Glow Chickpea Burger
The Tandoori Glow Chickpea Burger contains a tandoori-spiced chickpea patty served with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion and creamy vegan mint sauce on a toasted sesame bun.

This burger provides warm and mildly spicy flavours balanced with fresh vegetables and mint sauce. It was selected to expand the cultural variety of the proposed menu and offer customers a different type of delicious plant-based patty.
Why Did We Select These Five Flavours?
These five finalists were selected because they represent different cultures, ingredients and flavour profiles.
The Mexican and Mediterranean options received strong interest in our customer survey. The Korean, Australian and Indian concepts add further variety and help IZB differentiate its menu from competitors.
Together, these options offer customers a diverse range of spicy, fresh, savoury, smoky and aromatic plant-based flavour experiences.
