International Zing Burger is always looking after his customers and the products they offer to them, being aware of their needs and desires. Therefore, opening a space for them having the option to choose their wanted option of a healthy and tasty burger is here.
– 1/4 cup (60ml) toasted sesame oil – 1/3 cup (80ml) soy sauce – 2 tbsps lemon juice – small piece ginger, finely grated – 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 3 tbsps toasted sesame seeds – 450g (1lb) firm or extra firm tofu – 1 red capsicum, thickly sliced – 2 zucchini, sliced lengthwise – 3 to 4 mushrooms, sliced – 1/2 onion, sliced
Place marined ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine
Scatter toasted sesame seed on a plate
Cut tofu into 6 slices. Pat each square dry with paper towels. Place tofu in a shallow dish and pour over marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour
Preheat grill to a medium heat
Remove tofu from dish, retatining marinade. Place tofu slices on an oiled grill rack and grill for 3 minutes on each side. Brush tofu with the reserved marinade. Then, roll both sides in the sesame seeds.
Place capsicum, zucchini, mushroom and onion slices on grill. After that, grill for 3-4 minutes each side.
Build the tofu burger on a cibatta bun using the salad ingredients, roasted vegetables, pumpkin seeds and tomato salsa.
