The burger we were all waiting for has arrived: guilt-free, gluten-free, vegan and FULL of taste. Eating healthy never felt sooo good!
Vegan guilt-free burger recipe:
Time: 40 mins
What you need
1 medium sweet potato
70 grams of Peas
1 Red Onion
95 grams of cornstarch
1 table of sesame seeds
1 cup of quinoa
1 slice of Bio cheese
1 Organic tomato
Step by Step
Firstly, cook the sweet potatoes for 20 minutes or until you notice they get soft, in the meantime, boil the peas for about 10 minutes and cook the quinoa for about 8 minutes. Be patient, it will be worth it!
Secondly, chop the onion and add it to a hot frying pan until it gets brown.
Then, smash the avocado with a little bit of salt.
Let all the ingredients to cool down, when they are ready, place the potatoes in a bowl and start mashing them, add quinoa, coriander (this gives a nice touch), cumin, cornstarch, onions an peas.
Mix all the ingredients with your hands, have some fun!
After that, it is time to build the burgers, don’t let them become too thick or too slim.
Cover burgers with cornstarch.
Grease the frying pan with a little bit oil (olive or coconut) and cook the patties over medium heat.
Preheat your oven.
Cook each side for about 5 min, or until they are nicely browned. The smell here is awesome!
Place the kale with the bio cheese in the oven for around 5 minutes and take this time to also bake the tomatoes (this gives a special flavour)
Lastly, serve on gluten-sugar-free bread with the avocado, add the kale and tomato.
