I woke up this morning feeling a little bit hungry. My brain, still trying to get up to speed with the body, was going trough the possible solutions with this little problem of mine.
What to eat? The brain asked itself. I wish a nice breakfast, poached eggs with crispy bacon, mushrooms and avocado. Wow. That would be nice, but we don’t have that much time, responded the inner voice.
How about a sandwich? This was becoming a need as the hunger pushed for a quick solution. Yeah, why not. Let’s look in the fridge and make this sandwich as per the wish. Looking through the sections, my brain responded, this sandwich wish is becoming a wish sandwich.
I closed the fridge as it was already 11am and I was running out of time, deciding, with the little help of my survivalist brain, that I will be better of to have a nice burger later on. A good, succulent burger with a sauce that gives it the zinginess. Yes, I will have a nice chicken zinger burger.
But wait, what is a wish sandwich, you may ask. A wish sandwich, as The Blues Brothers said it, is a sandwich when you have two slices of bread and you wish you had some meat. Enjoy your meal.
